Faith Seeking Understanding

Sermon by Rev. Sally Fritsche, online and in person at 473 Oakwood Ave.

Young Anselm of Canterbury

Our theme this month is “discerning truth,” and we will be joined this Sunday by a UU minister from our nearby Neighbourhood UU Congregation, Rev. Sally Fritsche. Rev. Sally, a lifelong atheist UU, finds modern inspiration in the theological writings of an 11th Century Benedictine monk, Anselm of Canterbury, whose struggle to make sense of truth still resonates today. Together, we will have the opportunity to hear words from long ago, sing, meditate, and reflect on our own current-day relationships to truth, faith, logic, and questioning. Bring your faith, your doubts, and your desire for truth and meaning!
