Sermon by David Lewis-Peart, online and in person at 473 Oakwood Ave.
In a time when community feels so absent, and where outrage and the performance of identity and politics has replaced true meaning and connection – there are many of us who feel split, between the values we profess but struggle to see or live out and the increasing fatigue and disillusionment.
Where does GRACE fit, in a seemingly secular world? How might this Principle, in practice, help us better face both the real and perceived divisions and contradictions and attempt to hold the messy we see in ourselves, each other and the world?
Braiding story, ritual and conversation, David Lewis-Peart will walk the congregation through his thesis on just that with the GRACE Principle, and his ongoing pursuit both personal and professional in the practice of community of care.
