This week at 473 Oakwood, it was exciting to see our new staircase being sanded and the footings and back wall poured for our new west meeting hall, along with grooves for our hearing loop in the sanctuary floor, and thick insulation being applied to the south exterior wall.
The current schedule for construction shows our “substantial completion” date as February 14, when the building will be ready for final inspections and rectification of minor problems. Our “move in date” is slated for March 7, which will be the first day we can begin getting the space ready for our own use in April 2025.

Thick insulation has been applied to the south exterior wall.
The floor in the sanctuary has been poured along with grooves for our hearing loop.
The footings and back wall have been poured for our new west meeting hall on the ground floor under the old loading dock.
The main staircase has been poured and is being sanded.
