American poet, June Jordon, wrote in, ‘Poem for South African Women’, “We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” As we mark four months since we’ve begun meeting in our new space let’s take a breath and ask ourselves, “How can we strengthen this community we love, shaping it, even more surely into the one we dream of?”.
