Sermon by RevJ Kwong, in-person & online.
Join us this coming Sunday for a multigenerational celebration of harvest time, with an opportunity to break bread together and share in the fruit of the vine/tree. Those tuning in virtually may participate as well by having these elements nearby. Nia Centre for the Arts is once again hosting us for those who would like to join us in person.
Our topic will be on trust, which is also the Journey Group’s theme for October. We will begin to unpack Brené Brown’s “Anatomy of Trust” beginning with the story of the marble jar. Trust is foundational to any relationship, but can often seem like such a lofty, heady goal to have. How can we break down the idea of trust into something more tangible?
This service was online and in-person at the Nia Centre for the Arts, 524 Oakwood Ave.
