B4: Break Barriers, Build Beliefs is a workshop facilitated by the UUA for congregation who are searching for their next settled minister.
This workshop will be held on Saturday, November 8 (10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.) at our home at 473 Oakwood.
Bring a Brown Bag Lunch or check out one of the nearby eateries like (Taco Fuego, DAM Sandwiches, Casa Abril or Primrose Bagel).
Every Congregation searching for a Minister will hold this workshop. Together, we will examine the biases (conscious and unconscious) that we hold as individuals and as a congregation.
Our Eighth Principle states: As Unitarian Universalists, we covenant to affirm and promote individual and communal action that accountably dismantles racism and systemic barriers to full inclusion in ourselves and our institutions.
For questions, please contact Beth Ann (Ministerial Search Committee) at BethAnnMcFadden@nullFirstUnitarianToronto.org.
Please share your opinion to give us some context for the workshop. This survey should take 10-15 minutes to complete.
The UUA facilitator will use the anonymized results from the survey to personalize the workshop for FirstU. Responses to the survey will be held in strict confidence.
