Welcome Home! Welcome to the 2025-26 Pledge Campaign!
My name is Stephanie Hodnett and I am the Chair of Team Generosity, and coordinator of this year’s Pledge Campaign.
This is it! We are finally about to move into our new home at 473 Oakwood Ave! What an astonishing achievement this is, after so many long years of effort and waiting. We’re here!
As we prepare to finally cross the threshold, our emotions will likely be running high – hopefully ones like pride, satisfaction and joy. But also maybe some butterflies, as we begin this exciting new chapter.
We’ll need to be careful stewards of our beloved new building, taking care in all sorts of ways to make sure it is the welcoming place we have dreamed of for so long. There will be a bunch of new bills to pay as a result, along with staff and ministerial support. We’ll need to fund the costs of keeping the lights on, both literally and figuratively!
We are profoundly grateful for all of those who have pledged their ongoing support to our community. By pledging, we’re able to predict how much operating cash we will have for the coming year. Even if your pledge is set to automatically renew, could you please let us know if you are able to increase it? If you’re not in a position to increase it, we understand, and we would appreciate hearing from you too.
Automated and pre-authorized donations are the most helpful methods for our budgeting process and the most secure ways of donating.
Remember that your donation is tax-deductible and you can advise us to change your pledge at any time, if necessary.
Thank you for all that you bring to your First Unitarian community. 🙏
In joyful and profound gratitude,
Stephanie Hodnett,
Chair of Team Generosity
