Welcome Home to 473 Oakwood Ave on August 24 – In Person!

Dear Beloved Members and Friends of FirstU Toronto,

Your Board of Directors is thrilled to announce that the first in-person service at our new home will take place this Sunday, August 24, at 10:30 a.m.

Everyone is welcome to join in community at 473 Oakwood Avenue. The service will be led by our interim minister Rev. Linda Thomson and will be live-streamed.

Some things to know:

  • This is your home. Feel free to wander around before and after the service.
  • Nursery care and RE for all ages will be provided.
  • New name tags have been made and will be available.
  • After the service, we will have catered coffee and tea in the Community Hall.
  • We will hold a formal opening celebration (with cake!) on Sunday, September 7, which is also our annual Water Communion Sunday.
  • We will continue to provide live streaming of all Sunday services.

Arriving at 473 Oakwood:

  • How to get to 473 Oakwood
  • You can enter through the Oakwood Avenue entrance or the Robina Avenue entrance.
  • Wheel-Trans drop-off will be at the Oakwood entrance.
  • The limited parking in the parking lot on Robina Avenue is reserved for staff and congregants with limited mobility.
