One of the challenges of being Unitarian Universalist is balancing religious individualism and the call to justice. We cannot all be front line activists . As Unitarians we are drawn both inward to develop our spiritual self and outward to care for the suffering in a damaged world. How do we reconcile these divergent calls? I will speak about the search for a theological centre that bridges personal transformation and community action.
