Sermon by Leslie Solomonian.
This Sunday service features our Green Sanctuary Group, with guest speaker–First Unitarian member, naturopathic doctor, and activist–Leslie Solomonian. Leslie will address the feelings of overwhelming sadness, helplessness, and grief that many are feeling, as we face the intensifying climate crises. In word and music we will consider the question: how do we, both, attend to our personal self-care, while committing ourselves to action and advocacy for the needs of the planet and humanity?
Following the service you are invited to continue these thoughts in the conference room or online.
This week and next, the Green Sanctuary Group has chosen a special offering collection for EcoJustice, Canada’s largest environmental law charity, to which you can donate using envelopes at service, or through our CanadaHelps page. Donations will be matched for Earth Day.
