A Compass for the Journey

Sermon by Danielle Webber.

<>canoeists starting on a journey together

There is a freedom that comes without covenantal faith that can be both inviting and daunting. As a faith that offers no creed of beliefs, Unitarian Universalism can be described as a religion in which we walk with one another on this journey. In part, this is why Unitarian Universalist communities have journey groups, small groups with which we journey through life together. But what is our path? Christians have a path to salvation, Buddhists have the 8 fold path, Jainism has the pathway of liberation. How do we travel through this faith if we are not given a map, with an X to mark the spot where we are expected to end up?

See you Sunday morning,
