We Unitarian Universalists talk a lot about Interdependence, and maybe we started doing that some while before this became a Big Idea for our times and global community. Sure, interdependence has at least biological, ecological and economic importance, but I wonder how important it is to us as individuals. In what way am I interdependent with you? In what way ‘inter-‘ and in what way ‘-dependent’? On this level, I think we find some challenges.
