In anticipation of the upcoming federal election, on Tuesday, Oct. 7th at 7:00
pm the Toronto First Green Team and Green Neighbours 21 will hold an
information evening about carbon taxes.

The need for a meaningful response to climate change is urgent, and carbon
pricing (carbon tax and cap & trade) is seen by many as an essential
ingredient of that response.

This evening can help you learn the basics about how carbon taxes work, as
well as the positions of the four major federal political parties. Attending
this event is also an opportunity to show your politicians that you are
extremely concerned about climate change and expect them to give it top
priority.
