Why should I pledge?
Whatever the amount, your pledge enables us to make responsible financial plans and is most appreciated.

How much should I pledge?
This is a personal decision. When determining the amount you will pledge, please:
1 Make First "first in your heart" - your primary donation.
2 Consider giving 5% of your gross (i.e. before-tax) annual income.
3 Pledge more than last year, if you can.
4 Remember that your contribution is treated as a charitable donation for income tax purposes.
5 Be aware that your pledge can be changed if your financial situation changes.
6 Know that $80. for every member goes directly to the Canadian Unitarian Council to pay for services
such as lifespan religious education and worship material, newsletter, etc.
